Stop Grinding Your Teeth

Ever since you were born, your mind has been working on completely different levels. Conscious, subconscious and super conscious (but that last one has to do with the laws of quantum physics, so let's leave that one alone for now - unless you want to find out, in which case get yourself a copy of "What The Bleep Do We Know?" on book or DVD). The conscious mind deals with normal, everyday activities. It's reading this page now. It can do around 7 things at once. On a good day. If you're lucky.

The job of your subconscious is to protect you. It is capable of billions of functions at once and is, so far, the most powerful thing we've discovered in our universe. It has been designed to protect you from 2 things. Physical danger and emotional pain.

To protect you from physical danger is simple. It's called common sense. (Don't close your eyes when you're crossing the road!). Lessons you teach your subconscious that will keep you alive in the future.

To protect your emotions is a little different. If your subconscious mind sees you in a position of emotional pain (boredom, stress, anxiety, etc) it will respond to that as an actual physical threat (the same way a scary movie can make you jump, the subconscious cannot tell the difference between real and imagined). It will release inside you adrenaline in the form of epinephrine from the adrenal glands on top of your kidneys. We call this "the fight or flight response". If you don't deal with this adrenaline rush, it metamorphoses in your brain to a chemical called Cortisol, which is a pure stress hormone.

Now, your body does have to deal with this slow build-up of Cortisol. It will try to work out the stress in your body wherever and whenever it can. For some people, it comes in the form of a cigarette. For others, alcohol. For others, nail biting. For you, teeth grinding. Your subconscious basically thinks......OK, my boss is asleep now....let me release all this built-up tension in her body by slowly grinding her teeth. Grind away the tension........

Utilizing this CD, Hypnosis allows us both to speak gently to the subconscious and basically let it know that we appreciate what it was trying to do, but to realise there is a better way for you to receive all the stress relief it thought the grinding was doing for you, but without the risk of cracking teeth!

You can play the CD as you are drifting off to sleep, or download it and put it on your MP3 player. By restructuring the way the mind relates to the background stress, Teeth grinding will shortly be a thing of the past for you.

The CD comes with information regarding hypnosis and will answer any questions you may have as to the effectiveness of this program and what the expected results may be.

Hi there

It has been almost a year since I underwent a hypnosis session at your centre and I just wanted to let you know that it was very successful, I have not smoked since then.

Thanks for your help, I will highly recommend your centre to anyone trying to give up smoking.

Dear Phil, a note I just had to send to thank you for setting me free. I have not had a cigarette since I saw you and am still incredulous at the change, at the success, at the ease and how good I feel since your fabulous treatment session. I will be recommending your services to anyone I know who wants help, in particular my son who I am sure would also love to quit smoking. Kind regards.
